Let’s get down to a most unfortunate task of trying to save California.
Yes, there are about 30 other props, measures, and seats up for our vote this year, and luckily we’re well past the primary and you should be familiar with them!
For this exercise, let’s focus on the most urgent and necessary few that are deserving of our fight, and, of course, shine a spotlight on the villains among us.
WHAT MATTERS MOST: Yes, AOC endorsed Jimmy Gomez and yes he’s been heavily flooding your mailbox, but that’s only because he’s heavily funded by AIPAC and their political-buying budgets. David wants to end arms to Israel — and has almost beat Jimmy, twice.
WHAT MATTERS MOST: Adrin is a run of the mill Valley chud. Kevin De Leon? Oh, just a notorious city council squatter who was asked to resign by the President, the Governor and everyone in between after mocking a black child and the latino residents of his very own district.
WHAT MATTERS MOST: Measure DD is a direct response to the infamous fed tapes, and a necessary step in, I can’t stress this enough, oversight for the most corrupt city council in the nation.
WHAT MATTERS MOST:Prop 5 will lower the necessary vote threshold from about 60% to 55%, which means more affordable housing and infrastructure projects have a better chance of going through (yay!).
….is what various demonic landlord associations have spent on advertising trying to stop Prop 33. These are the same people who’ll be complaining about rampant homelessness when they throw us all on the streets.
I thought about ending this with a disclaimer or some sort of warning that not only am I human, I am also exhausted. Vote at your own risk!
Thank youuu
