My reckless spending peaked in 2021, but it’s not totally gone. This year, I did learn to fall back in love with vintage and thrifting (I missed the hunt). Second hand searching basically killed all my cravings for anything new. New me would rather spend hours searching for a pair of perfectly stretched pre-owned boots than battle through the struggle of newness. It’s not always economical, but it is ethical. Of the things I bought (and re-bought) this year, here are a few of my favorites.
